In the silent passing of things, the lush foliage of summer is now withered branches beneath a winter sky. The subtlest realms of existence are what ground us in the beauty of life. The way clay cracks as it dries or how metal tarnishes and rusts to create a textural metamorphosis. To tread lightly and remove the unnecessary and know how to let things be. The truth that comes from my photography is through slow observation, the stripping and removing of the unnecessary to reveal slow visual meditations. An intrinsic pursuit of the beauty within all of the natural process’ around us, even the irregular, murky and simple - to remind us of the intimate qualities of life.
